John Townley discovered it in the early 1970’s. Called the
Composite Chart, this chart is able to represent both people as they are in a relationship, by combining their individual charts (using the standard midpoint between each set of planets) into a single chart. Townley not only discovered how to use the composite chart, but popularized it as well, until today this chart is used by astrologers all over the world to track relationships of all kinds – romantic and otherwise.
Since no one knows the composite chart like John Townley does, we asked Townley to use his extensive experience and write a compatibility report for Matrix, one showing the nature of the individual relationship, and how that relationship changes over time — giving a
day-by-day analysis, and charting out the overall future of the relationship as it progresses through time..
Actually, we had Townley write two separate reports: one, a natal analysis of the basic relationship, called the
Togetherness Report, and a second report tracking that relationship as it moves forward in time, called
Time Together.
